Have you got Firefox's menubar displaying if so turn that off using * View -> Toolbars -> [] Menu Bar That may restore the Orange Firefox Button. I dunno about Win7. Any way it is something you need to evaluate, is it worth the risk or live with the non hiding task bar. It’s an intermittent problem. check over here
