Clicking the A button about five times it finally started working. Other Wiimotes do work on the Wii but it's only this one that doesn't. Our experience has shown that as your battery strength decreases to one (1) or less lights flashing, the cursor may not appear. If at least one Wii Remote is working, there is likely a problem with the first Wii Remote and it will need to be repaired.
It let me press "A" when it first came on and then that was it. If this doesn't work, go into the Wii settings at the home screen and make sure that the location of your sensor bar is correct, either below or above your TV. It's entirely possible that the IR-sensor which sits atop the Wiimote simply broke for whatever reason. What's strange is that when on the main screen of the Wii, i can press - or + to scroll through the channels and i can also turn on the Wii
If it does, the Wii Remote is synced with the system. Many thanks for your help. Nintendo made it way too thin and delicious. Wii Sensor Bar Not Picking Up Remote Though, honestly, just moving the Sensor Bar to the other position is probably a faster way check if that's the problem.
