I have a similar issue with my WD HD TV media player.I bought the player in March 2009 and it worked fine for the first few months, although the response to It seems that only the latest official version is available along with the unapproved beta versions. If the receiving monitor or display does not support HDCP on the input connection, the WD TV will not provide output to that display. I bought it last week in US and I came back to Brazil, where I live. It usually (but not always) works when first switched on, but then the output signal will disappear after a while. These boxes do isolate the input HDMIs from the output, so may solve your problems.
