Rv Fresh Water Pump Check the pump to see if it has a small inlet filter (screen) - it may be clogged. the pump needs to build up pressure to shut off. Most likely the water heater bypass valves are in the bypass position and there is no water in the water heater.

I have an '05 Aerolite Dutchman. It did not help (it is quieter of course, but still it takes 20 seconds or longer when I close a faucet. I replaced the switch with a new one and the in-line fuse looks fine as well...still not working. It is a relatively inexpensive part, but you will have to replace the whole city water port to fix the problem.

I had the same problem one spring, first use. I've had one person who was confused about a 110 VAC pump is why I ask. You are right...a small crack will probably mess the system up so I am going to just replace that section and mark another part off the "repair/replace" list.

Towod I have an older 1984 taurus that I am referbing, I had a broken water line and the hot water tank has a huge hole in the bottom. As you can get a new pump on Ebay for around $50 it might be easier to just go that route and be done with it. This unit is new to us but all valve seem to be in the correct position. All the hints are very helpful.
