The proper way to close an app is to double-click the home button (or swipe up on the screen with four fingers) to reveal the multi-tasking menu. Is there any way to fix this? Did not know I had this hidden feature. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds.
